My name is Jack, proud owner and artist behind Jack Bat SFX. I’ve been working in stage and SFX makeup for nearly ten years, and working as a professional airbrush artist for four. I began as a self taught makeup artist, learning through YouTube and books and practicing on friends and family members. As time went on, I began to take specialized classes for a variety of makeup including beauty, drag, stage, SFX, and airbrush. 

I’ve always had a strong passion for character creation through costume and makeup, a fact I carry proudly alongside numerous awards for my work. After spending three years working at a haunted house, I decided I wanted to expand my horizons to include the creation of props and oddities similar to those I’d seen in my workplace. I create each piece with love and attention, ensuring only the utmost quality to reflect just how seriously I take my work. 

I pride myself on being a dependable, flexible, and hard working artist.
